Illustration for the CCG A Game of Thrones from Fantasy Flight Games and based on the books by George R.R. Martin.  This pieces focuses on the three new dragons, perched on the Iron Throne.

This is one of my current favorites. This is a portrayal of Daenerys with one of her dragons from the A Game of Thrones card game based on the excellent book series by George R.R. Martin. I had submitted her originally with less of a background and more stylized hair, and the art director suggested I work it some more. Very glad I did. This piece won third place in Best Game Related artwork at the Origins Game Fair.

I’ve been fortunate to do several cards for the Fantasy Flight collectible card game based on the novels A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. Here is Daenerys with the still young dragon, Drogon. She originally was going to have long Dothraki braids, but my art director reminded me that at this point int the story, her hair was growing back from being burned off!
